It is one of the famous and oldest shopping centres in Trivandrum. Saphalyam complex has been here for around 20 years when shopping malls and shopping complexes was a new concept in the state. The complex was built by TRIDA. Located opposite to VJT Hall in Palayam, Saphalyam Complex is home to many shops and eateries. It is a favourite hangout place for the youth. Recently, as part of the road widening project, Saphalyam Complex has been revamped with an additional block.

3. Big Bazaar
Big Bazaar, the largest hypermarket chain in India has two outlets in Trivandrum- one at Overbridge Pazhavangadi and other at Kesavadasapuram. When it was first opened couple of years back it became an instant hit among Trivandrumites, now it has become one of the popular shopping destination in Trivandrum. It has almost all the items and all the brands that one need for households. It is constantly evolving to house more and more range of products. It houses groceries, vegetables, personal care items, textiles, electronics and mobile phones, fashion apparels, home decor items etc. The big bazaar also introduces attractive weekly or daily offers and discounts to its customers, so keep on the lookout to get those discounts.
