The new Honda CB Unicorn 160 will compete against Pitted against Yamaha FZ FI V2.0 and the Suzuki Gixxer.
Honda has launched the new CB Unicorn 160 at a starting price of Rs 69,350. The bike will be available in two variants- Standard and CBS.
The standard variant comes with a front disc brake and rear drum while the other is the Combi-Brake System trim which reduces the stopping distance at a price of Rs 74,414.
As the name suggests, the CB Unicorn 160 comes with a new 163cc HET-enabled engine which makes 14.71 PS of maximum power at 8,000 RPM and 14.61 Nm of maximum torque at 6,000 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed heel and toe shifter. Honda claims that the CB Unicorn 160 will do a top speed of 106kmph while the fuel efficiency will be 62kmpl.
Styling-wise, the new CB Unicorn 160 resembles the CB Trigger with minor tweaks. The head and tail lamps have been slightly modified. The fuel tank and saree-guard design are also unique to the CB Unicorn 160. The seat is a broad and flat single unit, and is comfortable for both rider and pillion. The bike also sports a chrome-finished muffler and floating side cowls.
Other features of the bike include a fully digital instrument console, an H-shaped LED tail lamp and rear mono shock. There are four colour options for the CB Unicorn 160 are Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Black, Grey Metallic and Sunbeam White.
The new Honda CB Unicorn 160 will compete against Pitted against Yamaha FZ FI V2.0 and the Suzuki Gixxer. The new motorcycle will be dispatched from the third week of January.
