Next James Bond movie announced, Bond gets awesome new car!
James Bond has returned! It was the one thing Bond fans all over the world have been waiting for. Two years after the after “Skyfall” debuted; producers announced the title and cast of the 24th Bond film during a press conference at Pinewood Studios in England.
The next 007 adventure is titled “Spectre” and the movie will arrive in theatres on November 6 2015.
Actor Daniel Craig will return as James Bond for the 4th time. Other familiar faces include Naomi Harris as Miss Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q. The new additions to the cast are Andrew Scott (Moriarty from Sherlock) as Denbigh, Monica Bellucci (Malèna, Shoot ‘Em Up, the Matrix sequels) as Lucia Sciarra, Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Mr. Hinx, Léa Seydoux (Blue is the Warmest Colour) and Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) as Madeleine Swann and Oberhauser, respectively. No actor has yet been cast in the role of evil genius Blofeld.
In the Bond films, SPECTRE stands for “Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion” the terrorist organization headed by Ernst Blofeld that featured in several early Bond films.
According to the film studio, the plot will see “a cryptic message from Bond’s past send him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation”. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre.
007’s new car revealed
The producers of the film also introduced a “non-human cast member,” Bond’s iconic car. On Spectre, James Bond will drive the new Aston Martin DB10. Aston Martin built the DB10 specifically for Spectre, and it’s only building 10 of them.
Sam Mendes who directed 2012′ Skyfall will direct Spectre and screenwriters John Logan, Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade have all returned for the new film. The film, which starts principal photography next week, will be shot over 7 months at several locations, which will include London, Rome, Morocco, Mexico City, and Solden, Obertilliach and Lake Altaussee in Austria.
The previous James Bond film, Skyfall, was the highest grossing Bond film of all time, raking in more than $1.1 billion at the worldwide box office and winning two Oscars.
