Vijay and Murugadoss to team up again for an action flick

After the success of action-thriller “Thuppakki” actor Vijay and director A.R. Murugadoss will team up again for an untitled project next year. However, the film will not be sequel to “Thuppakki“.
“Vijay and Murugadoss sir will team up again in 2014. It will be a fresh project, but not a sequel to ‘Thuppakki’. The script is in its final stage of completion,” said a source close to Vijay.
Vijay also confirmed the news on his Twitter page Saturday “With Murugadoss sir next year!”
Thuppakki revived Vijay’s career with many top directors including Bala approaching for future films. Director Murugadoss says that he has three stories on mind. One is an action packed flick, another is reportedly a love story and the third is a sequel to Thuppakki. The sequel to Thuppakki will start in the near future.
The filmmaker is trying to rope in Asin as Vijay’s pair. Asin and Vijay made a nice on-screen couple in the film Pokkiri. Currently the director is busy with the Hindi remake of Thuppalli starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. Meanwhile, the 39-year old actor is currently busy shooting for Tamil action-drama “Jilla” which also stars Mohanlal. He is also awaiting the release of “Thalaivaa“.
